Indian Overseas Bank, a nationalized Bank invites  
Online applications from Unemployed, young and eligible Graduates
 for filling up of the 150 vacancies of  Probationary Officer and Clerk  
posts. Interested Candidates may fill Online application form through 
IOB website from 06th Feb, 2014 till 21st Feb, 2014. 
  
IOB invites applications from from the State of Jammu & Kashmir 
(J&K) with a valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) 
for enrolling in the three months residential training programme for skill 
development. Please note that those candidates who have joined any 
other UDAAN partner will not be eligible to apply for the captioned training and selection process.

 1. Probationary Officers in JMGS-I : 50 vacancies, Stipend : Rs. 2500/- per month. 
2. Clerk : 50 vacancies, Stipend : Rs. 2500/- per month,    
Recruitment After completion of Training :
Name of Post :
1. Probationary Officers in JMGS-I : 25 vacancies  2. Clerk : 25 vacancies   
Pay Scale After training : 
1. For PO posts : Rs. 14,500 – Rs. 25,700 + DA, HRA ,CCA 
2. For Clerk post : Rs. 7,200 – Rs.19,300 + DA,HRA etc
  
What is Eligibility for Clerk and PO posts ?     
Age Limit : Candidates should have attained the age of 20 years and not have crossed the age of 28 years 
as on 01.02.2014. Relaxation in maximum age for SC/ST/OBC/PC/Ex-Servicemen will be as per extant 
Government Guidelines.       Educational Qualification : Candidates should have done Graduation 
from a recognized University/Institution with minimum 60% marks. (For Candidates belonging to
 SC/ST/PC category minimum 55% Marks).        
Selection Process for Training : Selection will be based on Online/Offline Examination and Interview.
  Written Examination will consists of Following Subjects, each subjects will contains 20 questions : 
 1. Reasoning : 25 marks  2. English Language : 20 marks 
3. Quantitative Aptitude : 25 marks 
4. General Awareness : 20 marks  5. Computer Knowledge : 10 marks
Interview : Depending upon the number of vacancies, only those candidates who rank sufficiently high 
in the order of merit in   Online/Offline Examination, as per the cut-off marks decided by the Bank will 
be called for the Interview.    
  Selection Process for Recruitment : Final Selection for appointment as Probationary Officers and 
Clerks with the Bank will be made based on the academic performance of the candidates in the 3 months
 training and/or Online/Offline examination and/or Interview and/or any other selection methodology 
decided by the Bank.  
  How to Apply : Eligible Candidates are required to apply "On-Line" only through our Bank's
 website www.iob.in . After filling up all the details, candidates shall submit the application Online
The Candidates can take print out of the system generated Online application form to be submitted
 at the time og the online/offline Examination/Interview. The Registration Number and password generate 
should also be retained for future reference.   
Note : The candidates can apply for only one post i.e. either Probationary Officer or Clerk.
